Back in 1978 number one desert racer Mitch Payton purchased a small motorcycle shop in Anaheim, California, named Anaheim Husqvarna. Mitch specialized in making Huskys competitive by building motors and exhaust pipes. With the massive influx of Japanese bikes at the time, Mitch set up his own pipe shop and started building exhaust systems for all the import bikes.

It was not long before Mitch outgrew the little shop and had to move into a larger building. By the mid-80’s Mitch had built a reputation for developing the fastest motors around. When the factory riders started using Pro Circuit, the business really took off. Mitch had riders like Jeff Ward, Rick Johnson, David Bailey, Bob Hannah and Broc Glover using his products on their full on factory works bikes. Pro Circuit really started to grow, and with all the top riders using Pro Circuit, they once again had to move into a bigger facility.

In 1991 Mitch started his own race team. The Peak Honda Pro Circuit Supercross team dominated in it’s very first year, winning the AMA East and West coast Supercross titles with Jeremy McGrath and Brian Swink. Jeremy McGrath won again in 1992 and Pro Circuit never looked back.
After 17 years the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team has won an incredible 22 AMA Championship titles! In addition to their professional domination, Pro Circuit’s amateur support program continues to grow each year giving us a new crop of future Pro Circuit factory riders.
Now 30 years (and four buildings) later, Pro Circuit has transformed from a 1500 squarefoot shop into a worldwide multi-million dollar company that employs hundreds of people.
Pro Circuit looks forward to the 2008 season and hopes to see you at the races.
