Ryan Villopoto has been touted as the next big thing in motocross racing, and in 2007 he lived up to the hype, claiming the AMA West Supercross Championship with a near-perfect season. His motocross season was just as dominant, as Villopoto was crowned the 2007 AMA Motocross Lites Champion for the second straight year. In 2008, he returns to the Lites rankings as he looks to add to his growing collection of number one plates.

2007
• Villopoto started the season with a dominating performance in the AMA West Supercross Lites Series, where he won seven of the eight races. He carried his momentum into motocross, winning his second-straight AMA Motocross Lites Championship. To cap off a perfect season, Villopoto became the first rider in history to win the overalls in both motos on KX250F against larger displacement bikes at the Motocross of Nations.

2006
• Villopoto began his professional career in the AMA West Supercross Lites Series where he won his first race at Texas Stadium in Dallas and went on to finish third overall for the season. In the AMA Motocross Lites Series, Villopoto used his experience from his amateur motocross days to earn six first-place finishes and eight podium finishes. With his success, he captured his first professional championship. Later that year, Villopoto was selected to be a member of Team USA at Motocross of Nations and was named the 2006 AMA Supercross/Motocross Rookie of the Year.

2005
• Villopoto concluded his career as a Team Green™ amateur racer and was honored for his many achievements with the AMA Horizon Award. He competed in his first professional motocross race at Binghamton’s Broome-Tioga Sports Center, where he placed 15th. He continued to improved finishing fifth at Steel City Raceway and second at Glen Helen Raceway.

2004
• Competing in numerous amateur motocross races for Team Green, Villopoto won 12 impressive titles through the season.

2003
• Villopoto won 12 titles for Team Green. He won two titles at Kawasaki Race of Champions, four titles at Winter Olympic SX, four at Winter Olympic MX, and two at the Winter Olympics Olympiad.
