2013 Monster Energy Supercross, Round 10 at the Daytona Motor Speedway in Dayton Beach, Fla.:
Villopoto Dominates and Earns the Points Lead
The tenth round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross series invaded the historical Daytona Motor Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla. this past Saturday. Pro Circuit’s Ryan Villopoto dominated the night by claiming a huge victory in the 450SX class that moved him from second to first overall in 450SX Championship point standings. He will be running the red plate at this Saturday’s race in Indianapolis. Pro Circuit’s Chad Reed stayed strong for a fifth-place finish, and is currently fifth overall in 450SX championship point standings.
In the 250SX East class, Pro Circuit’s Dean Wilson claimed an early victory in his heat race to earn the top gate pick for the main. In the main, he got off to a great start but came up short on a jump in a rhythm section as he was reeling in the leader. The incident shook him up, but he held strong to finish fourth. He is currently second overall in 250SX East championship point standings, only five points out of the lead. Teammate Justin Hill battled the difficult Daytona track to finish sixth, and is currently sixth overall in 250SX East championship point standings, only one point out of the top five.
Be sure to catch the Pro Circuit athletes at the 11th round of the series, which will be held this Saturday, March 16, at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

This track presented some of the roughest and highest speed terrain that riders will witness during the 2013 season. Pro Circuit’s Andrew DeLong took home the early points lead in the XC2 Pro Lites division, despite getting caught up in a first corner pile up which forced him to catch up and navigate through the field of stacked riders during the first lap.
